surprisingly GM sales didnt do as bad as many people expected. The economic problems hasnt effect GM as hard as it has to other companies. many think that their GM employee discount saved a lot of sales. GM is still second in sales in US.

GM will reveal there new Chevrolet Orlando at the Paris motor show this week. It will be built at several locations around the world, including in Lordstown, Ohio, beginning in April 2010.

GM will be getting a tax break for their new plant in Michigan. The Detroit City Council approved a $136 million tax abatement which will lasts 25 years. Even with the tax break, the company should generate about $4.6 million a year in tax revenue for the cit. " The Michigan Economic Growth Authority has approved tax credits; Flint, Pontiac and Bay City approved tax abatement to ensure GM manufactures the Volt and its key components in Michigan."
