mar 100/perez - assingment

When i was in high school things weren't as complicated as they seem they are these days in school. Kids walk around their school hallways with plenty of specialty products on from head to toe. Gucci bags, Tiffany bracelets, Prada shoes even couture, but when i was was in high school there was only one extraordinary item that motivate kids to make unusual efforts to get it. From waking up at five in the morning to then stand on a endless line for hours. Even paying extra money to get it a week in advance. Me and my friends would do anything for a pair of Air Jordans. Anybody who was somebody had to have a pair of what we use to call them "Js". Even though a pair of nike sneakers are not luxurious or made with specail leathers, they were something that we all considered a specialty good. We went through extrems measures to keep them "fresh" (looking brand new) and always tried to keep up with whatever Jordans were coming out next. For most people they even become a collecters item, with never worn pairs. Why such a fuss over sneakers you might think, Jordans usually sell out the first day on the first hour. If you dont buy them that day or in advanced its almost impossible to find them and if you do find them be prepaird to spend a pretty penny on them. Even though Jordans are basketball sneakers they are also a trend. They ofcourse target basketball players but they also target a younger crowd. With Fashionable colors and comfy to wear both groups of people wanted to own a pair of Js. Even little kids know and want a pair of Jordans so it seem that the promotion is not so hard. In every basketball court in every high school and in every hood you will see someone wearing a pair of Jordans.
