Plastic bags have a been around forever, in your cabinets that is. So what can you do with a plastic bag besides leave it under your cabinet or throw it out? First let me say it can take bags even up to hundreds of years before it breaks down and decompose. So instead of leaving them in you cabinet or throwing them away here are a few things you can do to reuse these plastic bags.

use them as book covers. they are good for kids that like to spill and for cook books which are at risk!
Shoe protectors for the rain
wet umbrella holders
Make pretty packaging
save money on doggie bags (my fav)


You can also reuse the bags as lunch bags or even to place garbage in instead of buying garbage bags. Not only will these things save you money but they also help our environment.
